Feb. 12 2016 Steelhead Fishing Report
Steelhead Fishing is still in full swing on the Washougal River, Kalama River, Sandy River and Clackamas River. Hatchery Steelhead seem to be few and far between, but that can’t be said for fresh Non-Clipped (Native) Steelhead. There seems to be plenty of Native Steelhead in these river this year, which is a good sign.
I will continue guiding for Winter Steelhead for a couple more weeks, waiting to get out for early Spring Chinook Salmon. I might get lucky and hook into some early Spring Chinook on the Kalama River while Steelhead fishing.
