WYNOOCHEE RIVER FISHING
Wynoochee River Fishing is a phenomenal Winter Steelhead Fishing and Fall Salmon Fishing River. Wynoochee River Fishing has been said to be one of the best Winter Steelhead Fishing River on the Olympic Peninsula. The Wynoochee River forms in the Olympic Mountains in the Washington State Olympic National Forest.
Wynoochee River Steelhead Fishing is best during January through June. We catch a lot of Trophy Winter Steelhead on the Wynoochee River during this time of the year as well. Wynoochee River Fishing is a very fun, hands on fishery for all experience levels.
The Wynoochee River is very close to Washington State Beaches, located near Montesano, WA. My clients like to Steelhead fish on the Wynoochee River during Washington State Clamming Season days; anglers will take advantage of Clamming and Winter Steelhead Fishing in the same day.
Fall Salmon Fishing on the Wynoochee River can be excellent fishing, again this is a very hands on fishery, and it doesn’t matter how experienced of fisherman you are. Wynoochee River Fall Chinook Salmon Fishing usually starts at the end of September and will fish into October. Wynoochee River Fishing for Coho Salmon starts around the first or second week in October and will fish into December.
When I am Winter Steelhead Fishing on the Wynoochee River I am usually fishing from my 18’ Clackacraft Clackamax Drift Boat. The Clackamax Drift Boat is a luxury drift boat that gives my clients total comfort for a day of Drift Boat Fishing for Wynoochee River Winter Steelhead. All though I am able to use my 25’ Willie Raptor Open Sled Boat on the lower Wynoochee River. I use the 25’ Willie Raptor Open Sled for Wynoochee River Coho Salmon Fishing.
