WHO AM I
Growing up in Washougal, WA, and having a father who loves to fish got me started at a very young age. The first fishing memory I have was trolling for salmon in the ocean outside of Ilwaco, WA. Trolling for Coho and Chinook salmon in the Ocean is where it all began for me.
My father was not a fan of salmon fishing or steelhead fishing in fresh water, so I had to learn the Columbia River and all the tributaries I fish, on my own. Since I have a huge passion for fishing I managed to figure out how to fish very effectively for Steelhead, Salmon and Sturgeon. I learned a lot when I worked part time at the Delta Park Fisherman’s Marine and Outdoors when I was going to Clark Community College.
Once I earned my associated degree from Clark College I transferred to Washington State University Vancouver to earn my bachelor degree. I also started my fishing guide sercice, STS Guide Service at this time, so I could fish during the day and go to school in the evenings. I graduated from WSU-V with two majors; Business Administration and Marketing.
I started Salmon fishing when I was a kid and I never want to stop. Making a living doing something that you absolutely love, whatever that maybe, is the only way to live life! That why I am a Fishing Guide!!!
